What is the position?The Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing payment transactions, monitoring related reports, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency across daily operational processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth payment operations within the organization and supporting BSA/AML operations.What are the responsibilities?As an Operations Analyst, you will:Process and review payment transactions in an accurate and timely manner.Work Level 1 OFAC alerts by reviewing and clearing front-line wires that generate OFAC alerts and can be quickly and easily identified as false positives.Maintain and reconcile daily reports related to payment activity.Monitor and resolve discrepancies or errors in transactional data.Support internal teams and external partners with payment-related inquiries.Identify and propose process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.Assist with audits, account reviews, and reporting as needed.Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing operational initiatives.What are the requirements?Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredExperience working in a financial institution or in a payment processing role preferredExperience in a BSA/AML or Fraud Risk role, or a customer-facing role with a BSA/AML background preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processingProficiency in PC and software applications (Excel, payment systems, or accounting software a plus)Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesYou would be really happy here if:You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently.You can grasp complex subjects and effectively strategize how to achieve optimal results.JoCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
