We work with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, founder-owned businesses, investment banks, and investors nationwide.Position OverviewOur CFO & Accounting Services group primarily serves middle-market private equity-backed companies and founder-owned businesses that need CFO & Accounting services to scale, gain visibility into their business, or/and prepare for a transaction.CFOx is looking for a Senior Associate to work closely with our Directors and Vice Presidents to provide strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and support growth initiatives of our clients. This role requires an understanding of private equity environments, strong accounting & financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.Typical engagements include:Fractional or Interim CFOPost M&A transaction integrations and transitionsHistorical accounting clean-upAccounting processes, procedures, and systems implementationFinancial planning & analysis (FP&A)Accounting services (i.e.: month-end close, financial statement preparation, bill pay)Location & Work ArrangementsThis position can be located in any of our three offices. We offer flexible, hybrid work arrangements to promote employee well-being, balance, and long-term success.Role Responsibilities Support and execute CFO & Accounting Services client engagementsPrepare client deliverables, analyses, and reportsImprove and implement internal processes, procedures, and templates for the firmActive involvement in the firm’s business development effortsActive participation in company operations and strategyQualifications 2-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate finance experiencePrevious audit experience is preferredCPA license is preferredCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $90,000 - $110,000Bonus: Discretionary (Target: 10-20%)Commission: Sales Commission EligibleBenefits: Medical, Vision, DentalRetirement: 401k Match
