Job DescriptionOrthopedic Surgeon in LouisianaLocated in Covington, LA40 miles to New Orleans, LAJOB SUMMARY: Full time, permanentBone & Joint clinicScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Provides leadership and medical direction. Provides input in the development of standards of care.Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty in which you are licensed. Provide input in the development of standards of care for Physicians Network. Participate in the development and support of Physicians Network. Maintain clinic schedules as noted in contractual agreement. Minimum Qualifications:Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. Current BLS, and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off (ALS required by specialty only) The health system is nestled in the heart of Covington on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
