We are dedicated to leveraging diverse perspectives to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.Role DescriptionThe Project Manager is the "operating system" of the agency, responsible for translating client needs into actionable internal tasks. This person will work closely with Account Managers and the Executive team to ensure all client needs are met and report on the status of internal schedules and bandwidth. This role ensures that every project is documented, tracked, and delivered on schedule. This role is focused on stabilization and infrastructure. Beyond daily tasks, the Project Manager will be responsible for audit and documentation of where every project sits within project management software and server environments to ensure total team clarity.RequirementsEducation:Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent years of related work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Experience:2–5 years of experience in project management, account management, or agency operations.Agency or multi-client experience is a plusDemonstrated experience managing concurrent projects across creative, technical, or marketing teamsFamiliarity with marketing campaign workflows, including web development, design, social, and content productionSkills & Tools:Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into clear internal briefs and team directionComfortable running internal stand-ups, project kickoffs, and status meetingsExperience with project management platforms (e.g., Wrike, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or similar)Working knowledge of marketing channels, including web, social media, paid media, and emailAbility to manage scope, identify risks early, and create solutions independentlyBasic familiarity with budgeting, time tracking, or capacity planning conceptsJob DutiesProject Planning & ScopingTranslate client goals and approved proposals into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverablesBuild and maintain project schedules across multiple concurrent engagementsCoordinate kickoff meetings with the internal team and, where applicable, clientsCross-Functional CoordinationWork alongside designers, developers, and other team members to keep projects movingAssign tasks, balance team workload, and flag capacity issues before they become problemsMaintain organized documentation of decisions, requirements, approvals, and changesDelivery & Quality AssuranceTrack project status, deadlines, and deliverables across all active accountsReview work before it leaves the agency to confirm it meets scope and quality standardsManage scope changes and surface budget or timeline impacts earlyClient-Facing CommunicationParticipate in client meetings as needed to discuss scope, timing, and deliverablesBuild trust through reliable follow-through and consistent communicationGeneral Agency ResponsibilitiesContribute to The Relish Jar’s process and workflow improvements over timeStay current on project management practices, tools, and agency operations trendsParticipate in internal team meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvementsProvide regular reporting and status updates to leadership on project health and team capacityPerformance RequirementsTraining:The Project Manager will receive onboarding training on The Relish Jar workflows, client accounts, tools, and brand standards. Ongoing professional development is encouraged, including project management certifications and industry training opportunities.Attendance / Effort:Regular availability during core business hours is expected, along with timely participation in team meetings, client check-ins, and internal communications.
