Duties consist of performing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders, conducts, supervises and interprets diagnostic and laboratory test, prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. Promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. Practice autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professional to treat and manage patient health problems. The roles includes, direct patient/family care, consultation, research, patient/families-groups/ and communities advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development. QUALIFICATIONS Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurses required Current Georgia Authorization/Certification as a NP Advanced Practice Registered Professional Nurse is required Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required Master's Degree in Nursing from the Georgia Board of Nursing Graduate School NP program is required Previous experience in area of specialty preferred 2-3 Years of experience preferred Experience working with severe persistent mental illness Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Psychiatry Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30344
