Location: RemoteDuration: 24+ MonthsType: Fulltime/ Contact (W2 or C2C or 1099)Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Developer to design, develop, and implement a custom blockchain application built on Ethereum using Laravel PHP and MySQL, running on Docker in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building the complete architecture, developing smart contracts, and ensuring the application’s scalability, security, and functionality.Responsibilities:Design and develop a blockchain application architecture on Ethereum using Laravel PHP and MySQL.Implement and deploy smart contracts on the Ethereum network, ensuring they are secure and efficient.Containerize the application using Docker, ensuring it runs smoothly across different environments, specifically in Linux.Optimize database interactions and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.Implement RESTful APIs for communication between the frontend and backend services.Conduct rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and security testing.Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of blockchain functionalities within the application.Stay updated on emerging blockchain trends and technologies and integrate them where necessary.Develop documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams or clients.Requirements:Proven experience in building blockchain applications on Ethereum with a focus on Laravel PHP and MySQL.Strong understanding of Ethereum blockchain technology and smart contract development.Proficiency in using Docker for application containerization.Solid experience working in Linux environments.Experience with web frameworks like Laravel and familiarity with PHP development best practices.Knowledge of MySQL database design and optimization techniques.Experience with developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.Understanding of cryptographic principles and security best practices in blockchain applications.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot application-specific issues.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Familiarity with Ethereum development tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin).Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React) is a plus.Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
