Must be flexible with end-of-shift time.\n\nJob Description\nThe Wound Care Nurse will provide specialized care for ICU patients, focusing on managing and treating various types of wounds, including pressure injuries. This role requires maintaining an Excel spreadsheet to document key metrics for each patient with a pressure injury and participating in wound rounds and prevalence studies.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAdminister wound treatments and dressings, including alginates, foams, hydrocolloids, and VAC therapy.\nConduct wick/ulcer assessment and management, including staging and prevention risk assessment.\nImplement infection control and isolation precautions as necessary.\nEducate patients and families on wound care and management.\nDocument and assess wound-related data and patient care metrics.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs effectively.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nActive New Jersey or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.\nCurrent BLS certification and Wound Care Certification (CWCN or WOCN).\nMinimum of one year of experience in wound care, specifically in an acute care or critical care setting.\nExperience with colostomy/ileostomy management and various wound treatment methods.\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
