Development CoordinatorBenefitsWe offer an exceptional benefits package that includes:Generous contributions to medical coverage, including deductible paymentsComprehensive dental insuranceOptional vision plansPaid vacation and sick timeLife insuranceTuition assistance after one year of employmentEmployee support programAnnual health insurance gym membership/weight loss reimbursementDiscounted membership at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness Center403b retirement plan with employer base contribution plus matchingMonthly staff appreciation recognitionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, resource development, or a related field.Proven track record of successful fundraising, including major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Proficiency in donor management software and fundraising platforms.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity, creativity, and dedication to the organization’s mission.Responsibilities- Grant Management:o Identify and research grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.o Write and submit grant proposals and reports.o Track grant applications and ensure compliance with grant requirements and deadlines- Fundraising Strategy and Planning:o Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet the organization’s financial goals.o Conduct research to identify and target potential donors, sponsors, and partners.o Analyze fundraising trends and adapt strategies as needed.- Donor Relations and Stewardship:o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors.o Develop and execute donor stewardship plans to ensure sustained engagement and support.o Organize donor recognition events and activities.- Campaign and Event Management:o Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals, capital campaigns, and online fundraising initiatives.o Organize and manage fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, and benefit concerts.o Coordinate volunteer committees and staff involved in fundraising activities.- Marketing and Communications:o Collaborate with the leadership team to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.o Utilize social media, email, and other communication channels to engage donors and promote fundraising initiatives.o Prepare press releases, newsletters, and other communications related to resource development.- Performs additional duties as assigned.The Fall River Deaconess Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).Confirmation of employment at Deaconess Home is contingent upon satisfactory completion of background checks, including CORI (Criminal Offenders Record Information), and DCF 51B Background Record Check (Child Abuse and Neglect).Job Type: Full-time
