The years of knowledge and experience have enabled us to deliver broader product choices, enhanced technologies, and an exceptional level of service to our trade customer base.We are proudly owned by JM Family Enterprises, one of the largest privately owned companies in the US.What You'll Be DoingSupervise the health, safety and distribution activities of all assigned hourly associates in the DCConduct daily start up meetings and discuss all updates pertaining to safety, orders/priorities for the next day and results from previous daySchedule and lead monthly safety meeting and safety topic engagementConduct safety brief and morning warm up routineMonitor and log attendance. Escalate employee relations issues to DC Manager and HR as appropriateLead work requirements on floor to exceed customer expectations as measured within given KPI’sRedirect and position resources as needed to achieve high DIFOT resultsEnsure the Distribution Center and assigned work areas are kept organized and cleanRequest the use of temporary labor during peak times of operation or for special projects to meet requirementsAssist Distribution Center Manager in handling other issues that may arise as directedCoordinate with HR Generalist on all related onboarding and offboarding needs.
