Job Title: Instructional DesignerLocation: Birmingham, ALDuration: 6+ monthsTravel: Core ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development: Create high-quality ILT, VILT, blended, and digital learning solutions (eLearning, guides, job aids).End-to-End Analysis: Conduct needs analysis and translate objectives into engaging, accessible, and instructionally sound content.Project Management: Execute project plans, manage timelines independently, and collaborate with SMRs/business leaders.LMS & Content Management: Upload, maintain, and troubleshoot content within an LMS and SharePoint.Innovation: Implement AI software and animation tools to improve learning delivery.Technical Qualifications (Screening Essentials)Experience: 3+ years in Instructional Design.Authoring Tools: Expert proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) is required.Multimedia: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud , animation software, and narration tools.AI Integration: Knowledge of implementing AI software in ID workflows (highly desired).LMS: Strong proficiency in Learning Management Systems.MS Office: High proficiency in Client Office Suite.Education & Preferred SkillsDegree: Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or equivalent experience.Domain Knowledge: Experience in technical/industrial fields (Power Generation, Safety, Construction, or Compliance) is preferred.Portfolio: REQUIRED. Must provide a sample (slide deck, storyboard, or module) and specify your role in its creation.Behavioral RequirementsStrong relationship management and facilitation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, hybrid team environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, accessibility, and branding standards.
