The current solution is atthe end of life stage, therefore new solutions need to be developed andincorporated; new and innovative technologies utilized to successfullymeet the user requirements. The goal of the Sponsor is to design anddeliver an enterprise-level system with a modular, segmentedarchitecture that can support both large scale and small scale solutionsin order to meet the requirements across a broad range of applicableuse cases. In order to support the technical requirements, the Sponsorrequires Information Technology (IT) activities to achieve the goal ofdesigning, developing, testing, integrating and deploying the solutions.The Developer Engineer will develop interfaces and ApplicationProgramming Interface (APIs) to Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) andproducts with tools focused on cloud and big data use with cloudservices and develop stateless implementations from architectures incloud service providers. They will input and interface to configurationmanagement and data repositories (such as GIT and GITHUB); developStandard Operating procedures (SOPs); and should be knowledgeable ofActive Directory (AD) and other Sponsor access interfaces for credentialmanagement. The Developer will work with multiple COTS vendors tointegrate products in multiple Linux environments and Windows; developand maintain a rigorous versioning system that links training andvalidation for reproducibility; establish a DevOps environment and useDevOps tools such as, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Chef, and Terraform; and testsoftware using automated test products such as Angular and Selenium.They will also adhere to the Sponsor's security practices andprocedures; prepare and deliver program and user level documentation;support the development of security documentation for softwareenvironment establishment; and interact with members of the technicalteam leads; to understand the current system, subsystems, and componentspecifications and be able to use experience to recommend changes tofacilitate efficient and effective development. The Software Developerwill communicate and share expertise within and across the Sponsor'sorganizational boundaries, work both independently and in small groups,and apply current industrial software development best practices thatinclude iterative and incremental project management techniques andagile software development. Requirements Mandatory Requirements Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or other related technical discipline, or the equivalentcombination of education, technical training, or work/military experience Minimum five (5) years or relevant degree plus five (5) years ofdemonstrated cybersecurity expertise Demonstrated experience with tools used with cloud services. Demonstrated experience establishing stateless implementations from architectures in cloud service providers. Demonstrated experience with configuration management and data repositories.
