Opportunity: RN - Med SurgJob Details: • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Patient ratios of 1:6-7 • Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation • No on-call responsibilities • Float to other med/surg units as needed • 1 year of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • BLS certification required • 24 hours of orientation • Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Royal blue scrubs required • Epic charting system • Free parking available • Skills include CVA care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, renal failure management, IV starts and maintenance • Care for adult and geriatric patients • Daily census of 36 patients with 36 rooms • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams • Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours completed pre-startFacility: This healthcare facility operates a medical-surgical unit with renal specialty focus, providing comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients.
