Phlebotomist

This position supports the R 2 Diagnostic Laboratory Center which provides patient care service for over 4,000 patients each week. On any given day, the 200 Diagnostic Laboratory Services team members collect blood specimen to support patient care for 1500 to 2000 ambulatory patients, and 500 to 600 inpatients, 90% of the time, the Ambulatory Lab Visit is completed in less than 20 minutes from check in to band aid on the arm, and 90% of the time, inpatient AM lab collections are completed by 8 AM. The team works to keep our patients and staff safe; provide outstanding patient experience; treat our patients and each other with respect and kindness; and strive to provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three months phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory and venipuncture skills. The work hours for this position is 9:30 am-6 pm.
