Technical Designer

This is an opportunity to contribute to unique, visually striking projects from concept through fabrication.Role Description: Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics to support project planning, fabrication, and execution. This role involves collaboration with engineers and project leads to ensure all designs meet project specifications and production standards, providing accurate and build-ready documentation across a range of projects.Duties- Develop detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks- Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical documentation- Prepare CNC-ready files for coordination with the CNC team- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards across all drafted plans- Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure precision and compliance with project specifications- Review and revise drawings based on feedback or project updates- Support documentation for project bids and proposalsExperience- 2+ years of experience in drafting or a related field, ideally within fabrication, entertainment, or experiential environments- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks- Familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino, Vectorworks, and Fusion are a plus- Strong attention to detail and precision in technical work- Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving project needs- Excellent communication skills for cross-department coordination
