Technical and Trade SchoolsNonresidential Building ConstructionChild Care ServicesFacilities Support ServicesOther Residential Care FacilitiesFlanders, NJPosition Summary: Garonit Pharma is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and daily operation of facility systems and building infrastructure at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Flanders, NJ.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine facility maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, lighting, painting, carpentry, and general building upkeepAssist with preventative maintenance for facility systems, utilities, and equipmentTroubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely mannerSupport HVAC, compressed air, water, and utility system monitoring and maintenanceHelp maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards in non-production and general facility areasAssist with minor cleanup tasks, general upkeep, and maintaining an inspection-ready environmentCoordinate with external vendors and contractors during service visits, maintenance, and repair activitiesSupport facility inspections and help ensure compliance with company safety proceduresAssist with office moves, furniture assembly, and facility setup as neededMaintain maintenance logs, work orders, and related documentationIdentify and proactively report safety hazards, equipment issues, or facility concernsAssist with inventory management of maintenance tools, parts, and suppliesSupport emergency maintenance situations and after-hours facility needs as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredTechnical school certification, trade training, or relevant vocational experience preferred2+ years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related experience preferredExperience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, or other regulated environments is a plusExperience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment preferredBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and company policiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWorking Conditions: This is a full-time hourly onsite role based at our Flanders, NJ manufacturing facility. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime, weekend work, or emergency response support based on facility and operational needs. This role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds.
