Primary Responsibilities TYME is seeking full-time experienced Construction Technicians to add to our amazing team at senior and lead level positions. Your primary duties will focus on providing construction inspection, contractor oversight, troubleshooting issues in the field, mentoring entry level technicians, assisting with coordination and scheduling of inspection staff, and construction activities documentation in conformance with contract requirements. The right candidate(s) must be able to work well independently and in a team setting, be a strong communicator, have a flexible schedule and be able to work in an outdoor environment. How you will contribute to the TYME team: Provide senior or lead level inspection on construction projects. Serve as a field representative when interacting with clients, contractors, and public. Prepare and/or review inspector’s daily reports (IDRs) detailing the status of the work, including verification of work completed, item postings and materials associations, and jobsite conditions. Complete and submit required calculations, sketches, maintenance of traffic reviews, mobility reporting, and item specific forms. Read and interpret contract requirements and plans. Track and record as-built information for incorporation into project record drawings. Serve as liaison between the contractor and supervising engineers to resolve constructability issues or questions. Communicate with project team and stakeholders including project engineer, other technicians, testing technicians, survey staff, contractors Demonstrate your strong project organization skills Perform other duties as required What You’ll Need to Succeed: Desire to grow personally and professionally. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Ability to work well independently and with others with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). H.S. Diploma or GED for entry level positions (Required). Associates degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (Preferred). Direct experience in either testing or inspection roles on State DOT or local agency program projects (Preferred). Experienced in tracking and recording as-built information on construction projects. Experienced with Project Management with project budgets and schedules. Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel). Experienced with BlueBeam and Adobe (Preferred) Experienced with FieldBook, FIeldManager, and ProjectWise (Preferred) Valid or easily obtainable State DOT and industry certifications (Preferred).
