Cnc Swiss Machinist

CNC Swiss Machinist ResponsibilitiesOperate Swiss-style CNC lathes for producing precision components.Maintain tight tolerances, particularly on threads, undercuts, and head features.Perform in-process inspection and document results per ISO/FDA quality system requirements.Ensure excellent burr control, surface finish, and cosmetic quality for implantable devices.Follow lot control, traceability, and documentation requirements critical to medical device manufacturing.Essential Skills3+ years of CNC Swiss experience producing small, high-precision components.Experience machining orthopedic or spinal implants with thread rolling/cutting, micro-features, and burr-free finishes.Comfortable working with traceability, device history records (DHR), and inspection documentation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and documentation accuracy.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience machining titanium and/or medical-grade stainless steels.Familiarity with ISO, FDA QSR, or other regulated manufacturing environments.Proficiency in machine operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, and using micrometer, calipers, and microscope.Why Work Here?Experience growth in a company that has expanded by 15-20% year-over-year and continues to grow in the medical device field. Must adhere to GMPs of the facility. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
