Licensed Social Worker Location: Juneau, AK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,764 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician Profession: Behavioral Health Specialty: Psychiatric Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year clinical experience License: None required Certifications: BLS within 60 days; TEAM/BERT within 90 days; Must begin the initial application for temporary QAP certification within 30 days of accepting the position. Must-Have: - Master’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences in a licensable discipline under Alaska Regulation - 1 year clinical experience - BLS Certification - Must begin the initial application for temporary QAP certification within 30 days of accepting the position - TEAM/BERT certification within 90 days - Alaska license Description: Under general supervision, this position will provide psychiatric crisis evaluation and treatment planning. The clinician will conduct individual, family, and group therapy in emergency and inpatient settings. This clinician must meet documentation standards for timeliness and accuracy using the primary electronic medical record. Documentation must comply with established standards. The clinician will conduct assessments, including diagnosis and individualized treatment planning. Referrals will be made throughout the service continuum as appropriate. The nature of the services necessitates a brief solution-focused model. Collaboration with community providers is essential. This clinician may provide individual, group, conjoint, and family counseling as appropriate. The provider must work cooperatively to offer evidence-based practices and utilize standards developed with the treatment teams. Participation in hospital committees and teams is required, focusing on building strong working relationships within behavioral health services. Positions are assigned to home departments for majority of work. Once licensed, clinicians may float to other areas and must have a working knowledge of all operational areas within behavioral health.
