Payroll Specialist

MissionResponsible for the administrative and technical support for the People function information system (HR Minds), ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and user comfort while also supporting People Ops activities such as onboarding/offboarding, record maintenance, expat payment calculations, and special projects to improve the efficacy of the function.Challenges we trust you withData Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, cost centers, and data within the HRIS system, Payroll platform, and other internal shared resources. Audit data monthly to ensure alignment among all systems, cost centers, and team structures.Review Payroll files, and partner with Payroll Specialist to perform checks and balances on bi-weekly payroll data, ensuring that both ADP and HR Minds are aligned.System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot basic user system questions and escalate complex issues to the HR Minds team. Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features. Data Entry & Updates: Enter and update employee information, including new hires, changes in employment status, and compensation. Audit employee-initiated changes in the system for accuracy.Provide regular checkups and status updates of USA data; review transaction results; assess system performance and accuracy.Serve as the point of contact for system usage, access, testing, and escalation requests. Develop, document, and maintain all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.Enter and coordinate purchase requisitions and orders that support the team.Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional global team members on systems-related issues, requests for enhancements, report queries, and other activities and projects.Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level colleagues or management.What We ValueYou have:High School diploma, Associate degree, or equivalent, required; College degree preferred.1+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment is a plus.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn people management software, payroll mechanics, and similar computer applications.Basic understanding of HR and People Operations corporate environment.Excellent grammar, proofreading, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
