Utility Cleaner

Job description: Job Title:  Utility Worker Work Hours:  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (No weekends) Guarantee:  40 hours per week Important:  Please do not apply if you cannot consistently work these specific hours. Key Duties Cleaning & Maintenance:  Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and floor maintenance to keep the environment safe and professional. Receiving Deliveries:  Manage the receiving area by unloading trucks, checking in orders, and organizing stock. Physical Labor:  Handle heavy lifting (50+ lbs) regularly to move equipment, supplies, and waste. Waste Management:  Ensure all trash and recycling are removed promptly and disposal areas are kept clean. Facility Support:  Support the team by setting up or breaking down work areas and helping with general maintenance tasks as needed. Safety Compliance:  Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and proper lifting techniques. Qualifications Physical Strength:  Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50+ pounds.  This role requires significant standing, bending, and manual labor. Reliability:  Proven track record of punctuality. You must be able to commit to the 8:30 AM–3:45 PM schedule every day. Efficiency:  Ability to work quickly and independently to stay ahead of the daily "rush." Team Mindset:  A proactive attitude and the willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Experience:  Prior experience in janitorial work, warehouse receiving, or facility maintenance is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
