Job#: 3036035Job Description:Apex Systems is hiring a Program Manager, Global Data Projects Location: 100% remote (EST or CST)Duration: Long term contract, potential for extensions and perm conversionRate: $80-100/hr W2Our client is undertaking a major, multi ‑ year transformation of their global data ecosystem — and we’re looking for a Program Manager/Delivery Lead to help drive one of the most critical initiatives in the roadmap: migrating all enterprise data from legacy platforms to modern Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks. If you excel at orchestrating complex delivery in global environments, thrive in cross ‑ functional settings, and bring strong data ‑ platform program experience, this role will put you at the center of one of the most impactful transformations in our company.What You’ll Own Lead planning, coordination, and execution of assigned workstreams within a multi ‑ year global data ‑ platform migration. Translate program objectives into actionable delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies. Drive day ‑ to ‑ day execution, ensuring teams stay focused, unblocked, and aligned across global time zones. Oversee delivery activities across Azure Data Services, Snowflake, Databricks, data pipelines, models, integrations, and BI consumption layers. Partner with engineering, architecture, governance, and platform teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Facilitate cross ‑ team working sessions and decision ‑ making forums to maintain momentum and clarity. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Ensure adherence to governance, privacy, and security requirements while maintaining documentation and compliance artifacts. Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, communication, and collaboration. Required Experience 8+ years leading delivery of data or technology initiatives in large, complex, global organizations. Proven ability to build and drive plans to completion using the right methodologies and tools. Experience delivering data migrations using Azure, Snowflake, and/or Databricks. Strong understanding of data ‑ migration strategies and enterprise data architectures. Experience coordinating global, multi-region teams and navigating matrixed environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder ‑ management skills. Proficiency with enterprise delivery tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, ServiceNow). What Success Looks Like On ‑ time, high ‑ quality delivery of assigned migration workstreams. Strong alignment and trust built across global teams and stakeholders. Predictable, transparent execution that supports Circle K’s enterprise data ‑ transformation goals. Nice to Have Experience in global retail, e ‑ commerce, or consumer goods. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master. Experience with large ‑ scale data migrations or cloud ‑ modernization programs. Familiarity with data mesh, federated governance, or modern data ‑ product operating models. Ability to lead through complexity, influence across domains, and operate effectively across global time zones.
