In this position, you'll hold a management position with guidance from senior leadership. This role entails supervising staff, mentoring their technical skills, and contributing to project management on NCDOT projects and beyond.LocationThis position will work in our Raleigh office on a hybrid work schedule.The Impact You Will HaveProvide guidance and direction in technical project elements, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of analyses and designs, thereby enhancing project outcomes and client satisfactionCommunicate technical progress and issues to Project Managers promptly, facilitating informed decision-making and proactive problem-solving, ultimately contributing to project efficiency and successTrain and mentor staff, imparting technical knowledge and skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the teamPerform, review, and manage technical analyses and designs, ensuring completeness and compliance with quality standards, thereby mitigating risks and ensuring project integrityAssist with business development and proposal development, leveraging technical expertise to secure new opportunities and drive company growthServe as a Subject Matter Expert on projects, providing specialized knowledge and insights to optimize project outcomes and deliver added value to clientsShare knowledge to enhance organizational learning and performance, facilitating continuous improvement and innovation across projects and teamsWhat You Will NeedBachelor’s degree in a related fieldProfessional Engineering license in NCPrevious NCDOT project experience and understanding of NCDOT processes and procedures preferredShowcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling efficient decision-making and resolution of complex technical challengesDemonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to interface with stakeholders, fostering clear and transparent communication channels and promoting collaborationPossess strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interactions with clients, team members, and stakeholdersWhy BeneschIt’s simple.
