Plant Process Engineer

About the Role: As a Plant Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize production output. Your expertise in process engineering will be critical in ensuring that our manufacturing processes are safe, reliable, and meet all regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to improve the overall profitability of the plant. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of process control systems and instrumentation Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies Experience with DCS and PLC control systems Experience in the petrochemical industry Responsibilities: Design and implement process improvements to optimize production output Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement Ensure that all manufacturing processes are safe, reliable, and meet regulatory requirements Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve plant profitability Provide technical support to the production team as needed Skills: As a Plant Process Engineer, you will utilize your strong technical skills in process engineering, process control systems, and instrumentation to optimize production output and ensure regulatory compliance. Your problem-solving and analytical skills will be critical in identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures. Additionally, your experience with process simulation software and Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies will be beneficial in this role. You will work closely with the production team to provide technical support and ensure that all manufacturing processes are safe, reliable, and meet regulatory requirements.
