Risk Manager - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Manager - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $101,084 – $128,878 annuallyResponsibilities Evaluate and manage organizational risks through assessments and benchmarking Collaborate on reviews of patient harm events and conduct harm analysis Analyze aggregate data to identify high-risk procedures and activities Compile and present risk statistics to assist management in patient safety assessments Initiate investigations of adverse events and identify best practices to prevent recurrence Lead safety event reviews and root cause analyses to enhance patient safety Consult with various departments on risk management, regulatory, and ethical issuesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Law, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required 5 years of clinical or risk management experience required Master's Degree preferred Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred 7 years of clinical or risk management experience preferredBenefits 100% remote work flexibility, with the option for on-site work available Opportunity to lead risk management education programs for staff Engage in collaborative projects with the Office of General Counsel Role involves significant professional growth as a subject matter expert Participation in regional and national risk management organizationsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
