Coding/Computer Science Tutor

About Us We are looking for a passionate teacher who can show patience and care to young teenagers while having experience in childhood education or computer science. Our curriculum includes Scratch, Python and HTML, CSS & Javascript. Prior knowledge of one of these languages is preferred but not required. We offer pre-job training. Responsibilities: Instruct students in the classes based on course materials Understand the courses' materials Teach students how to write computer programs, algorithms, and programming languages. Help students with their questions Keep records of grades and perform other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications: Competent presentation Communication skills A confident and energetic character welcomed Preferred: College degree or equivalent teaching experience Experience in afterschool/camp setting/leading a classroom is a plus Promotion Path: Instructor -> Senior Instructor -> Gold Instructor -> Lead Instructor + Partner Compensation: This is a part-time job.
