As a Gastroenterologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in need of specialized care. You will engage in a team-oriented approach, collaborating with primary care and specialty providers, as well as community specialists and skilled nursing facilities, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care to a diverse and expanding patient population.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients, including prescribing medications, exercises, and other treatments.Work alongside clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care effectively, ensuring continuity through communication with external health and social agencies.Act as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, including general surgeons, urologists, orthopedic surgeons, and ENT specialists, while consulting on patient care matters.Educate and counsel individuals and groups regarding specific healthcare needs, serving as a specialist in your field.Contribute to the creation of health education programs.What We OfferYou will be recognized and rewarded for your contributions in a dynamic environment that challenges you and provides clear guidance for success in your role. We also support your professional development for other potential career paths.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Gastroenterology.Possession of a current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.Compensation and BenefitsYour total cash compensation will include base salary and bonuses, influenced by various factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience.
