- We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer who is passionate about solving complex business problems through innovation and strong engineering practices.
- The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise backend applications and services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Oracle, and cloud-native technologies.
- The engineer will work as a strong contributor within an Agile delivery team, collaborating with architects, developers, and stakeholders while adhering to modern software engineering, code quality, security, CI/CD, and cloud-native development practices.
- Required Technical Skills 8+ years of software development experience, with strong specialization in Java backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- JavaSpring Boot
- Microservices ArchitectureRESTful APIsOracleSQL / PL/SQLStrong understanding of Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Java design principles.
- In-depth understanding of modern application architecture and software design patterns.
- Strong experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing Event-Driven Services.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL API implementations.
- Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs.
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong experience with build and deployment tools such as:
Maven / Gradle:
JenkinsDockerOpenShiftExperience with Git / GitHub Enterprise for source code management.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as JIRA.Practical exposure to AI-assisted software development tools, including GitHub Copilot.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.
