It's mission is to add value by delivering quality services & solutions on time all the time by transforming processes & technology into business advantages.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking two experienced Automation Support professionals to provide dedicated 12-hour night shift coverage for automation and computerized systems. In these roles, you will be the primary automation resource during overnight operations, ensuring the continuous, compliant, and reliable performance of manufacturing execution systems, control systems, and critical site infrastructure.You will execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities, monitor system performance, support MES troubleshooting (Syncade), manage OSI PI Historian configurations, and maintain computerized systems in full compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and applicable quality standards. Your ability to operate independently and make sound technical decisions during off-hours is essential.RESPONSIBILITIESCorrective Maintenance Execution: Execute corrective maintenance activities including troubleshooting of programming, vision systems, and equipment; perform archiving, backup and restore of programming and configurations; conduct electromechanical troubleshooting; and replace electronic components as required.Preventive Maintenance Plans: Execute and maintain preventive maintenance plans including database archiving, programming and configuration backups, system alarm and log monitoring, and computerized systems maintenance activities.Safety Hazard Evaluation: Evaluate safety hazards and risks prior to executing maintenance activities, and prepare or approve all required safety documentation before work begins.Failure Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate recurrent failures, recommend solutions, and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences and reduce impact on manufacturing operations.Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify risks in existing computer systems, propose mitigations or improvements, and implement solutions to reduce impact or prevent occurrence.System Performance Monitoring: Monitor systems performance continuously during the shift and escalate any atypical situations to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.OSI PI Historian Management: Develop and implement OSI PI Historian models and tags as required to support operational analytics, OEE monitoring, and batch/lot data contextualization.MES Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with a specific focus on Syncade, ensuring continuous availability and compliance during night operations.Shift Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Send structured shift summary reports covering all activities performed; maintain continuous communication with key stakeholders on critical automation issues within the shift.Access Management & Audit Trail Support: Develop and maintain User Access Lists per equipment and system; support System Audit Trail periodic review processes as required by applicable site procedures.System Administration: Perform system administration tasks as required, including support for IT computerized system outages or activities within the shift.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSRequiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation and computerized systems support in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience with corrective and preventive maintenance of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and manufacturing computerized systems.Hands-on experience with MES platforms, specifically Syncade troubleshooting and operational support.Experience with OSI PI Historian — model development, tag configuration, and data contextualization.Familiarity with cGMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and applicable quality practice requirements.Availability and flexibility to work 12-hour overnight shifts.Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written).PreferredExperience with Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) or equivalent PLC platforms.Familiarity with User Access Management processes and Audit Trail review in a pharmaceutical environment.Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements and documentation.Prior experience with system administration tasks for GxP computerized systems.Familiarity with CMMS tools for maintenance tracking and work order management.SKILLSTechnical SkillsPLCs, SCADA, DCS, computerized manufacturing systems — corrective and preventive maintenanceMES (Syncade) troubleshooting and operational supportOSI PI Historian — model development, tag configuration, OEE monitoringCorrective maintenance: programming, vision systems, electromechanical, component replacementUser Access Management and Audit Trail review processesSystem administration for GxP computerized systemscGMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and quality practice complianceShift reporting and structured stakeholder communicationSoft SkillsHighly self-directed — capable of making sound technical decisions independently during overnight operationsCalm and methodical under pressure with a strong focus on safety before actionProactive in identifying and escalating risks before they impact productionReliable and accountable — consistently delivers structured shift reports and handover communicationDetail-oriented with strong documentation discipline in a regulated environmentCommitted to continuous improvement and compliance at all times
