Houseperson/Laundry Attendant
Job Summary

Duties
Empty Room Attendant carts of solid linen and trash.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, and foyers.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Obtain amenities and supplies for Room attendants.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
Ensure linen closets are fully stocked
Supply room attendants with clean linens
Use proper radio etiquette
Proper handling of dirty linen (usage of laundry shoots)
Maintain closets cleanliness
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard techniques and equipment
Handle laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items
Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care procedures to ensure safety and visual appeal
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas to meet operational standards
Assist with janitorial tasks like waste removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly for efficiency and safety
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemical safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organization
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is highly desirable
Knowledge of housekeeping management practices that promote operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
