Perez Martial Arts is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for students of all skill levels. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Martial Arts Instructor located in Medfield, MA. The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for leading engaging and age-appropriate martial arts classes using the SKILLZ curriculum, developing students’ physical skills as well as their personal growth. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, conducting skill assessments, guiding students through their martial arts journey, ensuring a safe training environment, and supporting studio events and programs. Qualifications Proficiency in martial arts techniques and the ability to teach them effectively to students of varied skill levels and agesStrong communication and leadership skills for guiding and motivating studentsExperience working with children and an understanding of youth development principlesOrganizational skills for planning lessons, managing class schedules, and executing eventsA positive and energetic attitude, paired with patience and a commitment to student successFirst Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and a commitment to creating a safe learning environmentPrior teaching or coaching experience is a bonusBackground in SKILLZ curriculum or similar child development programs is an advantage
