The EHS Manager works with and advises project leadership and field personnel ensuringimplementation of the company’s Incident Free Workplace Culture.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compiles and maintains Health, Environmental, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with legislative and Company requirementsManages Company safety related employees and personnelIdentifies safety related training requirements for all designated Regional employeesAssists in implementing Company Global Best Practice / Best Known MethodsProvides advice to Company management regarding EHS issuesAssists Management with new work pursuits, including preparing safety prequalification and client presentationsAssists Management with new project start upAssists in design and implementation of safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions, utilizing knowledge of engineering technology, industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, industrial health and safety regulations, standards, and best practicesSupports and advises project management in the effective implementation of EHS policies and proceduresFacilitate training as necessaryFacilitates the Company objective of maintaining an “Incident Free Workplace”, promoting safety awareness and ownership in the designated RegionMaintains contact and coordinates with client safety organizationsDevelops project safety plans and specificationsEnsures project management risk assessments and activity related hazards are completedUndertakes formal auditing of Company workplaces to gauge compliance with Company EHS policies and procedures. Audits for a successful safety cultureReport on project KPIsManage EHS document controlIs involved with design safety as neededAll duties are not inclusiveKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional organization and coordination skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)Familiarity with digital platforms, ACC, DMCS, Avetta, ISN, Veriforce, Highwire etc.Minimum Requirements:Education/License/Registration/Certification Years of ExperienceBachelor’s degree in safety, Environmental, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or an applied science field preferredMust have one of the following Professional Certifications/License: --Certified Safety Professional (CSP)-Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)-Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)-Professional Engineer License (PE)-Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)-Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC)10 – 15+ years of experience in EHS Construction Management5+ years of experience in the project scop i.e., ATF, DTC, BLSEEO StatementExyte US, Inc. and its subsidiaries are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that is committed to supporting an inclusive workplace where associates excel based on personal merit, qualifications, experience, ability, and job performance.
