Job Description Location: United States - RemoteOther Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Required with the ability to obtain a Public TrustAnnual Salary Range: 100K - 120KLTS is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Automation Team Analyst to support the OMEGA program by identifying, analyzing, and documenting operational processes that can be improved or automated to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the program.Working under the direction of the Automation and AI Enablement Lead, in coordination with the Automation Engineer and Technology and Innovation Team, the Process Automation Analyst evaluates workflows across the COEs and program operations to identify automation opportunities in areas such as documentation management, release readiness, architecture governance, incident reporting, platform operations, and sustainment transitions.The role is responsible for developing reusable AI prompts, automation use cases, workflow templates, and prompt usage guidance that enable OMEGA teams to automate recurring operational activities.What You'll Do:Perform Discovery and Workflow Analysis to include the following responsibilities:Assess existing workflows and identify manual, repetitive, and high-friction activities suitable for automation.Create Process maps and workflow analysesDraft current-state and future-state workflow documentationPrioritize automation use case inventoryPerform Documentation and Process Automation Analysis:Review program documentation, governance materials, process guidance, and operational artifacts to identify opportunities for summarization, standardization, and automation.Document gap analysis summariesRecommend automation use cases for documentation automationPrepare Workflow decision trees and business rulesProvide Release Management and Governance Automation Support:Support the identification of automation opportunities related to release readiness, deployment risk review, architectural review preparation, and governance workflows.Provide Release and governance workflow assessmentsPrepare Automation requirements for risk review and readiness analysisProvide decision support criteria for governance checksPerform RCA and Incident Workflow Analysis:Analyze incident response and root cause analysis workflows to identify opportunities for automation of summaries, draft artifacts, and operational reporting.Prepare RCA workflow and artifact analysisDocument incident reporting automation requirementsProvide recommendations for standardized RCA support processesPerform Automation Prompt Development:Develop reusable AI prompts that enable automation of recurring operational tasks across the program.Prompt templates for operational workflowsPrompt documentation and usage guidanceContributions to the centralized prompt libraryRole-specific prompt packs for COEs and operational teamsDraft Automation Requirements Development:Document business rules, requirements, and acceptance criteria for automation solutions implemented by the team.Review all team SOPs and inject common workflows to advise prioritization of automations.Ensure requirements and solutions align with VA policies, operational needs, and federal compliance standards.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline5+ years of experience as a Process Automation Engineer supporting enterprise IT or healthcare modernization programsCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public TrustExperience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for complex systems and applicationStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and requirements management processesExperience facilitating stakeholder discussions and translating business needs into technical solutionsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio, or similar platformsNice to Have:• Experience supporting VA healthcare systems• Experience supporting healthcare workflows, clinical operations, or enterprise healthcare systems• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, and cloud modernization environments• Experience supporting federal government programs and regulated environmentsWhat's in it for you?The opportunity to support high visibility federal missions in IT and healthcareA culture that values innovation, growth, collaboration, and qualityAccess to cutting-edge tools and technologiesComprehensive benefits for you and your familyA career path that rewards ambition and performanceIf you're ready to push boundaries, sharpen your skills, and join a team that is passionate about building what's next, we'd love to meet you.
