Event Manager, wedding day

If you enjoy working with people, big parties and have a high level of confidence, working at Bleu Bite as an Event Manager (which is like a day of wedding coordinator) is the job for you! It is a super rewarding job - everyone is happy, they are eating and drinking, and you're helping couples make their dreams come true! You will be the Event Manager and monitor the day of activities to keep the show running smoothly on the wedding day. All our weddings are fully staffed with servers, bartenders and chefs, and the Event Manager is in charge of our crew. Site visits and client meetings are potentially involved, depending on the couples. The job frequently involves setting up the venue and making it look pretty with tables, chairs, decor, center pieces, ceiling treatments,etc. Bleu Bite Catering is a full service, from scratch, catering company locally owned in Bend since 2000. Yep, that’s 24 years! We have won Best of Bend 8 years and counting. We love making yummy food and helping guests have a stellar experience at all events we cater! We are a busy, fast-paced, and upbeat workplace. If you are looking for a great experience working in the industry the Bleu Crew is for you! The nitty gritty: This is a part-time position. 4-6 days a month about 35 - 60 hours. Hours vary. Almost every Saturday and an occasional Friday or Sunday. We are flexible also.
