You will also operate forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials and document location of equipment in the warehouse. You will assist the yard crews as needed with changing tires/axles and other miscellaneous needs in the yard.What You'll DoOperate tugger and other equipment to move and retrieve modular buildings, containers, tanks and large, heavy equipment in the yardOperate forklift to stack and retrieve supplies and materials within the warehouseOccasionally deliver materials to job sites using company vehicleAssist yard crew as needed with changing tires and axles on modular buildingsAssisting with inventory accuracy when in the warehouseDocument location of equipment and communicate location to office staff as neededEnsure equipment is in proper working order and documents inspections of equipment; reports discrepanciesMaintain daily inspection log(s) for equipment and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment receives periodic maintenanceHave knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for roleRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobFill and deliver material vouchers to production crewsPerform other duties as assignedMust HavesAbility to work outside in variable weather conditionsAbility to follow spoken and written instructionAbility to effectively communicate with staff and customers as neededAbility to use hand and power toolsAbility to safely perform all tasks and understand Company's safety policies and proceduresAbility to work overtime as neededPrior experience in related work requiredValid driver's license requiredPossess and maintain current certification in the operations of required forklift and related equipmentManual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objectsAble to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activitiesFlexibility & Evolving ResponsibilitiesThis job posting is intended to convey the general nature and level of work expected in the role.
