Peoplesoft AdministratorAzusa Solutions is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team of talented consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company comprised of highly qualified, highly impactful, and multi-talented individuals.EligibilityCandidate must have an active TS/SCI and FS poly ClearanceCandidate must be local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area.Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our PeopleSoft environment. This role is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, security, and ensuring the reliability and availability of PeopleSoft applications across the organization.Administer and support PeopleSoft environments (development, test, and production)Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft application components using Oracle PeopleSoft and Oracle WebLogic ServerPerform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance packsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (batch processes, integration broker, application server domains)Manage PeopleSoft security (user roles, permissions, and access controls)Support PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and batch processingWork with DBAs to optimize database performance (commonly Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server)Administer integrations with third-party systems (APIs, web services, file-based integrations)Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery proceduresSupport migration activities using tools like Application Designer and Change AssistantProvide technical support for PeopleSoft modulesDocument system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesCollaborate with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teamsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–7+ years of PeopleSoft administration experienceStrong experience with:PeopleTools installation and configurationWeb/application server administrationIntegration Broker and process schedulingHands-on experience with operating systems such as Linux or Windows ServerExperience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server)Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuningFamiliarity with shell scripting or automationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades (PeopleTools and application upgrades)Knowledge of PeopleSoft Cloud deployments or hosting modelsExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platformsFamiliarity with DevOps tools and practicesExperience supporting high-availability environmentsUnderstanding of security best practices and compliance standardsExperience with Elastic Search in PeopleSoftKnowledge of PeopleSoft PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager)Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)Basic SQL and performance tuning skillsBenefit InformationOur firm offers a professional and respectful work environment, exciting opportunities for professional growth, and comprehensive benefits, including:Generous paid time offHealth, vision, and dental benefitsLong term/short term disabilityLife insurance401(k) plan with match available immediatelyEmployee referral incentiveRemote or Hybrid telework arrangements are available for some positionsAbout AzusaAzusa Solutions (Azusa) helps clients solve their toughest challenges in the area Enterprise Application Development and Maintenance.
