Senior Java Developer – Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS

TITLE: Sr Java Developer - Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, AWSLOCATION: Remote in USPAY: Targeting $75-85/hr give or take, and is dependent on relevant experience and expertiseENGAGEMENT TYPE: ongoing contract with benefitsWhat You’ll Be DoingPlaying a key role in our client's provisioning systems team. This role interacts with offshore team members and helps them solve problems as needed. Lead by example as their onshore peer. Who We’re Looking For8-10+ years of proven experience in backend development Active hands-on development in: Java/J2EE (Java 17 & Java 21+), Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, MongoDB, Spring Data JPA, along with SQS/any RDBMS experience. Experience with these AWS functions would be very helpful - Fargate, DocumentDB, Lambda, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and Aurora PostgrSQL Working knowledge of Docker/containers and JSON is required Exposure to React and Next could be helpful, but not required AWS certifications are strong nice to haves Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas.
