Location:New York / HybridJob DescriptionRole SummaryNew York Life Insurance is seeking an experienced Development Lead to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade integration and digital platform solutions. This role requires strong hands-on technical leadership across MuleSoft integrations, Java/Spring Boot development, CI/CD automation, and emerging AI/MCP server capabilities, along with experience in cloud and messaging technologies.The Development Lead will work onsite and closely collaborate with architecture, product, and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with New York Life's enterprise standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end design and development of integration and application solutions. Act as technical lead and mentor for development teams, providing code reviews and architectural guidance. Design and implement MuleSoft-based integration architectures, including APIs, message flows, and system integrations.Drive hands-on development using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-scale applications. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate AI-related capabilities, including MCP server concepts, to support intelligent automation and next-generation solutions. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure adherence to security, performance, scalability, and compliance standards within an insurance enterprise. Support production readiness, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Participate in Agile/Scrum and Scaled Agile delivery processes, including release planning.
