Claims Support Coordinator (Verification)
The Claims Support Coordinator (Verification) is responsible for ensuring all workers' compensation and no fault auto claim information is collected, confirmed and documented accurately and in a timely manner to meet or exceed the team production goals. This position demands strong communication skills, quality customer service, heavy telephone interaction, problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.What You'll DoValidation of claim data to ensure accuracy on all claims entered into the system prior to invoices being generatedContacts insurance carriers to confirm and obtain information in a timely fashionInvestigates claims in order to obtain missing claim dataDocuments all communication with insurance carriers, physicians, law firms and patients in the approved formatAlways possesses a positive and professional attitudeDemonstrates a thorough understanding of workers compensation and no-fault auto claimsServes as a liaison between departments and outside parties to ensure that customers receive their medication in a timely mannerConsistent awareness and comprehension of policy/procedure changesCommunicates effectively and articulates ideas verbally and in writingAccountable for actions and decisions demonstrated in daily tasksMaintains or exceeds the expected productivity and qualityNotifies Supervisor of insurance changes and trendsSpecial projects as delegated by Supervisor/other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need to SucceedAssociates Degree or equivalent experience1-2 years in a supportive office roleBasic knowledge of medical terminology preferredExcellent customer service skillsIndependent problem solverDetail orientedModern office procedures and methods including computer equipment and supporting applicationsWhy You'll Love Working at IWPOur culture is built on our ICARE values: Ingenuity, Collaboration, Advocacy, Respect, and Empowerment.
