Sneakers is a priority and high-potential category with a deeply engaged community.This is a builder role. You will move quickly, test aggressively, and iterate in real time to identify what works. You’ll own key parts of category growth — including sourcing and onboarding sellers, launching and optimizing live events, and driving GMV — while developing the playbooks that will define how Sneakers scales on Live.You’ll work directly with sellers, creators, and internal partners, acting as both an operator and strategist to unlock growth in a complex, fast-moving market.What You Will AccomplishDrive category growth through rapid executionSupport delivery of GMV targets for Sneakers on eBay LiveOperate with a strong bias to action — launching quickly, learning fast, and iterating Identify and test new formats (drops, auctions, bundles, hype releases, etc.) to unlock growthSource and onboard high-potential sneaker sellersIdentify, pitch, and onboard sellers across the sneaker ecosystem (resellers, shops, collectors, creators)Leverage data, market knowledge, and emerging trends to prioritize the right supplySupport onboarding and help sellers ramp quickly on LiveRun a strong test-and-learn loopContinuously experiment with seller mix, inventory strategy, pricing, and live formatsUse data and market intuition to evaluate performance and refine approachCapture learnings and help build repeatable playbooks for the categorySupport seller successConvince sellers to invest time and resources in eBay live, and help them make that investment worthwhileUnderstand drivers of success on the eBay live platform and coach your portfolio of sellers accordingly - across assortment, live host, production, selling formats, marketing, etc. Advocate for sellers with cross functional teams, come up with solutions to problems, seed new programs to help sellers be successful, lobby for them, and activate against themBuild trust and credibility with sellers through consistent resultsExecute business development & negotiationsSupport deal-making with sellers, including pricing, incentives, and participation structuresApply strong business judgment and financial discipline Help ensure sustainable, scalable economics for the businessCollaborate cross-functionallyWork closely with product, marketing, and operations to support successful events and seller growthSurface insights and advocate for improvements to the Live platform based on Sneakers needsAdditional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$86,800 - $150,100Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
