Landscape Irrigation Technician

K2 Services, Inc. is hiring a motivated, dependable Landscape Irrigation Technician Trainee to join our growing landscape irrigation team. Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate who wants to build a career in the green industry. What you'll Do : Diagnose and service residential and commercial irrigation systems Identify root causes of system failures - Not just replace parts and hope for the best Apply your plant knowledge to esnure irrigation systems are properly supporting landscape health Safely operate equipment (mini-excavators, mini skid steers, hydroseeders, mowers, weed eaters, etc.) Work independently in the field and occasionally as a part of a small crew (2–4 team members) Maintain a safe and clean work environment Represent K2 professionally with clients who care deeply about their landscapes What We're Looking For: Experience in any skilled trade or technical field (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, military maintenance, golf course maintenance, nursery/horticulture, etc) Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions Passion for plants, horticulture, landscaping, or the green industry Strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability Ability to work as part of a team and independently Must have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License Must have had a relatively clean driving record for the past 3 years Must be comfortable driving a cargo van Experience with landscaping/irrigation equipment is helpful but not required A genuine troubleshooting mindset - You think WHY before you start replacing things What We Offer: Starting pay: $21.00/hour and up, depending on experience Full-time schedule: 35–45 hours/week Opportunities for training and advancement Supportive team environment Long-term career potential in a growing company Apply today to start your career with K2 Services, Inc.
