Molding Machine Operator 2nd shift OTTO's opportunity: Our Molding Machine Operator 2nd shiftis an entry level Molding Department position where the candidate learns about all aspects of the injection molding process. Hours - 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday) Specifically, theMolding Machine Operator 2nd shiftwill :Basic molding machine setupConfirm proper material use, per BOM'sMaterial drying and loadingPerform inspection of work produced to ensure qualityMachine maintenance as requiredKeep equipment and work area cleanCount and progress work into stockRegrind material as requiredPerform SPC data collectionObserve department proceduresRun insert molded jobs as neededManage raw material in a manner that prevents contaminationMaintain cleanliness and order of raw material storageAssist with other related duties as required or assignedWhat you'll need to bring to the table:Minimum 2 years in this position before being considered for Molding Technician TraineeAbility to lift 50 lbs. Shoulder height with assistance as necessaryReliable attendanceAbility to differentiate between colorsAvailable for nonstandard or extended work schedulesGood communication skillsAble to follow written and verbal instructionsKnowledge of inspection tools and their useWhat OTTO offers for this specific position: The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.Target hourly hiring range: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour(plus 10% shift premium) ,based on qualifications and experience.Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it's fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year.
