Field Services Engineer
HP/Lenovo Break-Fix Field Service Technician (Freelance/Associate)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair for HP/Lenovo laptops, desktops, and tablets.Handle motherboard replacement, branding, cracked screen replacement, battery replacement, audio repair, and webcam replacement.Support HP/Lenovo Retail Point of Sale (POS) systems including printers, barcode scanners, monitors, and cash drawers.Provide break-fix support for HP printers including DeskJet, OfficeJet, LaserJet Pro, Envy, A4, and A3 series.Troubleshoot hardware and printer-related issues such as paper jams, toner issues, imaging defects, connectivity problems, and component failures.Perform hardware parts replacement and preventive maintenance activities.Complete assigned service tickets within SLA timelines and within 60 minutes of on-site arrival.Coordinate pickup and delivery of replacement parts through FedEx or logistics partners when required.Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, parts usage, and issue resolution through ticketing systems.Communicate effectively with dispatch coordinators, end users, and remote support teams.Follow HP and Lenovo service standards, compliance guidelines, and workplace safety procedures.RequirementsProven experience in HP/Lenovo break-fix and field support services.Strong troubleshooting skills across laptops, desktops, printers, and POS systems.Ability to travel to customer locations for onsite support.Experience with hardware diagnostics, repair, and component replacement.Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills.Flexible to handle urgent dispatches and varying work schedules.Benefits / What Sharp Brains ProvidesFree HP & Lenovo certifications to strengthen technical expertise.Regular dispatch tickets with flexible freelance scheduling.Flat-rate payment per completed ticket.Opportunity to support globally recognized enterprise customers.
