Patient Care Coordinator

Our practice, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Westfield is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! This is a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about Oral Surgery and committed to delivering outstanding care.What You’ll Do:The Patient Care Coordinator will deliver customer service both over the phone and in person, serving as the first point of contact for patients. This role requires a self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while offering support and solutions to patients.The successful candidate will be able to:Greet visitors, patients, and families in a friendly, professional manner and directs them appropriatelyMaintain an efficient patient flow through the registration process and provide excellent customer service topatients/familiesPromptly answer the telephone, direct all calls appropriately, take accurate messages, and deliver to theappropriate individualPost all self-pay charges, collect payments, and provide patients with receiptsReconcile billing slips to daily scheduleUpdate patient information, including demographics, insurance, HIPAA forms, and financial waiversSchedule appointments accurately according to department guidelines, using a waitlist when applicableEffectively communicate problems, concerns, or issues to the Team Lead/Manager appropriately andpromptlyPerform various clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, scanning, filing, and mailingsDemonstrate flexibility with various work schedules and cover for other staff when asked, including otheroffice locationsDemonstrate the ability to follow downtime procedures adequatelyPerform any and all other duties as assignedWhat You’ll Bring:High School Diploma required, A.S.
