Key Responsibilities The Field Service Technician (FST) plays a key role in delivering, installing, maintaining, and servicing Quanta's dialysis systems across customer sites nationwide. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on travel, problem-solving, and making a real difference in patients' lives. You'll be part of a supportive technical team working closely with Field Service Engineers, Clinical, Sales, Marketing, and Service teams — all aligned to create a seamless and reliable customer experience. This opportunity is perfect for biomedical technicians/engineers who are looking to work for a fast-paced startup with frequent travel. Support field installations of dialysis systems, including device setup and basic configuration at customer sites Assist with pre-installation facility surveys to determine site readiness Perform routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer specifications and company procedures Conduct first-level diagnostics and escalate unresolved issues to Field Service Engineers Replace parts and components as directed by senior technical staff Maintain service documentation in compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements Manage assigned inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables Ensure all tools and test equipment are functional, properly stored, and calibrated as required Support delivery and logistics of new equipment within the assigned territory Provide on-site support for customer questions and assist in training efforts when needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Sales, and R&D to ensure a seamless customer experience Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory standards in all field activities Requirements/Qualifications 2+ years of relevant technical experience (e.g., field service, maintenance, mechanical/electrical repair) Experience within the dialysis space (biomedical technician etc.) Associate degree or technical certification preferred but not required Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply new technical concepts Customer-facing experience and mentality required Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using service apps or ERP tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift up to 70 lbs and safely handle equipment and tools in field environments Willingness to travel nationally (75-100%), including frequent airplane travel & overnight stays Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Medical Equipment Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Quanta Dialysis Technologies by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for "Field Service Technician" roles.
