The OpportunityThe firm is seeking an experienced Probate Litigation Counsel to join its established and growing practice. This role can be based in Worcester, Westborough, or Boston, MA. This is a senior-level opportunity for an attorney who can step in immediately and take ownership of complex probate, trust, and fiduciary disputes with minimal oversight.This individual will serve as a key contributor within the practice, managing sophisticated matters from inception through resolution. The role involves representing clients in contested estate and trust matters, including disputes involving fiduciary duties, will contests, and related litigation, while also handling broader civil litigation as needed. Attorneys in this group are given significant responsibility, direct client access, and the opportunity to play a visible role in high-impact matters.ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiationsIndependently manage complex and sensitive probate, trust, and fiduciary disputesCollaborate with an experienced team while maintaining direct client interaction and strong relationshipsDeliver high-quality work in a reduced billable hours environment, allowing for a focus on impactful matters and continued professional growthQualifications8+ years of probate litigation and/or complex civil litigation experience, with the ability to independently manage matters from start to finishDemonstrated experience handling contested probate, trust, and fiduciary mattersJuris Doctor (JD) required; admission to practice in Massachusetts required
