Sr. Software Developer
Overview:
In this role you will design, code, and test desktop and web components using .NET with SQL Server as the backend. You will support custom development, database programming, performance monitoring, and knowledge transfer across core development technologies. You'll work on API development and integration, and may leverage reporting and BI tools. The position emphasizes strong problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team to deliver reliable software at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test application software using .NET front-end and SQL Server back-end
- Provide technical support for custom development and database programming
- Monitor performance and optimize SQL Server, including stored procedures and indexing
- Perform API development and integration
- Facilitate knowledge transfer in core development technologies
- Collaborate with team and communicate effectively
Key requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience with .NET technologies
- Strong programming skills in VB.net, ASP.NET (C#), HTML, CSS, XML, and Visual Studio .NETProficiency with MS SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, triggers, indexing, and performance optimization
- Experience with API development and integration
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports and Power BI is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and GitHub for Visual StudioStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
