ElginSet-up Machine Operators for 1st and 2nd shiftSolderer/Touch upQuality InspectorAOI Machine OperatorSummaryTouch up Soldering Operator: Visually inspect and manually touch-up and/or repair soldering defects from printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)Quality Inspector: Perform quality inspections on products and materials to ensure they comply with the required standards of the company's Quality Control Plan and customer specificationsSet-up Machine Operator SMT-Surface Mount Technology: The machine operator sets up all required machines to run PCB's including board loader, screen printer, re-flow oven and conveyors Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform basic electrical and/or optical final tests on production PCBAs as assigned by the Test Lead/Supervisor.Operate standard test equipment, meters, fixtures, and tools to verify functionality.Follow detailed written test procedures and work instructions.Accurately record test data, results, and observations in required documentation or computer systems.Identify test failures and report issues to the Test Lead/Supervisor.Learn basic troubleshooting techniques and proper use of test equipment.Adhere to all safety, quality, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standardsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced production team environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good verbal and written communication skillsPhysical DemandsStand for long hours, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.Close, distance, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusWork EnvironmentFast-paced manufacturing environment with strict quality and safety standards.
