We are headquartered in Rockford, IL. Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team on a full-time basis. This on-site role, based in Rockford, IL, involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure optimal manufacturing processes. Additionally, the Machinist will perform maintenance on machinery and stay informed about industry best practices. Qualifications Proficiency in CNC machine operation, programming, and setupStrong understanding of blueprint reading, measurements, and GD&TExperience with 5-axis machining and working with various materials, including metals and plasticsKnowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment maintenanceAttention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate clearlyExperience in prototype or low-volume production is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining is preferredCommitment to adhering to quality and safety standards
