Financial Institutions Department - Credit VP
Vice President, Credit Risk Analyst The Vice President, Credit Risk Analyst will conduct various types of credit analysis on loans and perform the annual review of credit limits. In addition to administer and maintain superb relationships with Financial Institutions to expand the bank's customer base and increase the business with each in correspondent in accordance with established policy and procedures. Coordinate with LCD, CRM and IAD to ensure the bank relationships follow the most up-to-date OCC and other regulations.Credit Portfolio Maintenance/Credit OfficerConduct in-depth thorough analysis of new credit requests, credit change requests, renewals and annual customer relationship reviewsReport any findings that may have an adverse effect on loan collateral or borrower's ability to pay/repay the loanPresent detailed credit analysis to relevant parties (e.g. Loan Officers)Ensure all credit files are complete with supporting documentationPerform annual file reviewsUpdate CRR and Credit usage trackerComplete any credit related tasks/assessments requested by 2nd line in a timely mannerParticipate in internal and external audit request, and take remediation actions is neededParticipate in special projects and other duties as assignedGenerate monthly reporting items for CRC and regulatory required itemsCredit Review and Ongoing ScreeningConduct due diligence on CRR entities in accordance to bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsReport any unusual credit activities to supervisor and Department HeadReview loan files as needed to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirementsPerforming quality assurance and editorial function for the credit recommendation report and proposalCustomer ServicePerform liaison functions for FI customers and relevant business departments to resolve their inquiresActively support new type of customer and new product onboardingOther DutiesThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, accounting, computer science, economics, mathematics, finance or statistics required; Master's degree preferredAt least 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management requiredKnowledge of credit risk, financial and statistical analysis.Knowledge of credit administration, policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance.PC proficiency utilizing a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office Suite.Effective credit report writing skills.Strong desire to proactively identify gaps/inefficiencies in existing processes and work towards resolving.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills requiredMust be multi-tasked to be able to work in a fast pace environmentAbility to deal with all levels of personnel in a courteous and efficient mannerMust be organized and detail orientated with follow-up skillsPay RangeActual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.USD $110,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.
