Position Overview
The Cold Pack Supervisor supports the Assembly Department by overseeing order processing, staging, kitting, and shipment preparation while leading a team to meet production goals. This role blends administrative coordination with on-the-floor leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily cold pack and assembly operations to ensure production goals and quality standards are met
Pull, stage, and kit products for shipment and ensure accurate labeling
Track and document incoming and outgoing orders
Partner with production leadership to communicate order status and workflow progress
Maintain inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production
Lead, support, and motivate the assembly team
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and safety
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen preferred)
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
Complete administrative duties including reporting and documentation
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to problem-solve and perform root cause analysis
Experience with or willingness to learn Lean Manufacturing principles
Ability to interpret production schedules and delegate tasks
